green is finally here - and there in the gorgeous northern limits of the adirondacks - they eat trees. i don't think the mohawks were being very nice when they described the algonquins that way, but regardless - in the depths of winter it may have been true. now they eat like the rest of us, subway and mcdonald's. and they sell this hay from this beautiful place to pay their way. how beautiful is this spring scene? i love the adirondacks, except the lake george part, and the glens falls part - don't love those parts so much, but this part is gorgeous.
