tell me of what use is the us penny? it is ridiculously useless - an aggravating coin. many people throw them away in frustration. and i feel kind of bad - lincoln seem to be a good guy - good enough to have a shrine [memorial] named after him, indeed... erected in his honor. and the shrine [memorial] was good enough to be placed on the penny in 1909 - but now's the time to get rid of it. it is a beautiful monument, but it is a stupid, useless coin.
